Midi beds with storage are typically lower than high sleepers and have a shorter staircase or ladder, this makes them ideal for smaller rooms. They can take a single UK mattress and add a variety of useful components beneath. Many of our midi cabin beds are available in multiple colour finishes so you can select the one that suits your child's room best. Some go more than that and come with the option of custom storage units. The desk can be moved between two units via wheels. There are four storage drawers, and two cupboards with doors. The Eli F takes things to the next level by having doors that are matched to your head and foot boards.
The Luna low line loft bed or the midi storage bed is small and packed with everything you require including a ladder that can be turned around, a desk that can slide in and out on wheels three drawer chest and a cabinet that are all included. It can also be made in reverse for example, with the ladder on the right hand side. You can ask for this in the store or add this request to the checkout.

Some midi loft beds that have storage come with the desk already integrated into the bunk (as illustrated in the photo above) and others, like our Luna midi bunk have the ladder on the right-hand side so that the desk can be put at the left (please ask in store, on the phone, or in the comments section when shopping in case this is important to you).
It's worth noting that most midi loft beds with desk require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden slatted base. The price of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest checking our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds are compatible with standard UK single mattresses, and the top bunk comes with the safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models have an amazing pull-out drawer for a trundle to sleep in or storage space underneath the bed. They can be opened or fitted with doors (please check the product's details for more information).
Many midi cabins come with the option of a desk that can be moved between two upper levels or chests of drawers. This gives children a bespoke space to store their belongings, meaning that there's no need to take the floor space by putting up heavy shelving units or wardrobes.
Some models have gone a step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted, or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storage of toys and books.
